Update the plugin

Content Gate updates arrive in the normal WordPress Dashboard > Updates screen, like any other plugin. Click Update and you are done. No licence is needed to receive updates.

Update now

1. When a new version exists, WordPress shows a number next to Dashboard > Updates and Plugins.
2. Go to Plugins. Under Content Gate you read that a new version is available.
3. Click View version details to read what changed, if you wish.
4. Click Update now.

Your rules, settings and licence are kept.

Automatic updates

In Plugins, click Enable auto-updates on the Content Gate row to let WordPress install new versions on its own.

If no update shows up

• The plugin asks our server for new versions at most once an hour. Wait a little and reload the page.
• If our server cannot be reached, nothing happens and no error is shown: try again later.
• You can always install a new version by hand: download the zip from the product page and follow Install the free version, choosing Replace current with uploaded.
