Getting started
- What is Content GateContent Gate decides who can see your pages, posts, blocks and widgets, and what everyone else gets instead.
- Install the free versionDownload the Content Gate zip, upload it from Plugins > Add New Plugin, activate it and find it in the admin menu.
- Activate your licence keyPaste your licence key in Content Gate > Licence and click Activate on this site to unlock every Pro feature.
- Write your first ruleCreate your first Content Gate rule step by step: name it, choose who keeps access, what it covers and what others see.
Using Content Gate

Licence and account
- Try Pro free for 7 daysStart the 7-day Pro trial from Content Gate > Licence: no card, no renewal, and your rules are kept when it ends.
- Move a licence to another siteRelease your Content Gate licence on the old site with Release this site, then activate the same key on the new one.
- Update the pluginContent Gate updates appear in the normal WordPress Updates screen, like any other plugin, with or without a licence.
