It does what European authorities ask of a cookie banner: nothing optional runs before consent, Reject is as easy as Accept, each category can be chosen on its own and visitors can change their mind at any time. We cannot write your privacy policy for you, but the plugin writes the cookie part from the services it blocks.
Scripts from your own domain are never touched. Payment and anti-spam services such as Stripe, PayPal and reCAPTCHA count as necessary and keep working. A blocked video or map shows a box with a button, so nothing disappears without an explanation.
Yes. Blocking does not depend on the visitor's cookie: the server always sends the blocked version and the browser restores what the visitor allowed.
Consent Mode v2 is built in. By default Tag Manager waits for consent. If Consent Mode is already set up inside your container, one setting lets Tag Manager load with every signal denied until the visitor decides.

No. The consent log keeps a random ID, the date, the categories chosen and the page, with no IP address and no browser data. Cookie Consent runs entirely on your WordPress: the only calls to our server are the licence check and the check for new versions.
Yes. Click Release this site on the old site, then activate the same key on the new one. If the old site no longer exists, write to us and we free the slot for you.
