Activate your licence key
To unlock the Pro features, go to Content Gate > Licence, paste your key in the Licence key box and click Activate on this site. Your rules stay exactly as they are; the ones over the free limit start working straight away.
Where to find your key
- The key arrives by email right after payment.
- You can also find it at any time in My licences on the NOP Digital site.

Activate it
- In the WordPress admin, go to Content Gate > Licence. The menu item shows your current plan in brackets, for example Licence (Free).
- In the Licence key box, paste the whole key (it looks like
NOPCG-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). - Click Activate on this site.
- You see the message Licence active on this site. Under Current plan you now read the name of your plan and Every feature is unlocked on this site.

Each site where you click Activate on this site uses one slot. To free a slot, see Move a licence to another site.
If activation fails
- Key not recognised. Check that you copied it in full.: copy the key again, without spaces before or after.
- The licence is already in use on another site. Release it there, or buy a second one.: all the sites of your plan are used.
- The licence has expired. Renew it to switch the Pro features back on.: renew from My licences.
- The licence server cannot be reached: your hosting could not contact our server. Try again in a few minutes; if it persists, ask your host whether outgoing connections are blocked.
The plugin checks the licence with our server about twice a day. If our server does not answer, the licence stays valid for two weeks, so a network problem never reopens content you closed.
