Move a licence to another site
To move a licence, click Release this site on the old site's Answer Desk > Licence screen, then activate the same key on the new site.
1. Release the old site
- On the old site, go to Answer Desk > Licence.
- In the Licence key card, click Release this site.
- You see Site released. The key can be used somewhere else.
Documents and settings stay on the old site and go back to the free limits.
Deleting the plugin from Plugins > Installed Plugins also releases the licence on our server before the plugin data is removed.
If you see Licence removed from this site, but the server did not confirm, the key was removed locally but our server may still count the site. Try Release this site again later, or write to us.
2. Activate on the new site
Install Answer Desk on the new site and follow Activate your licence key. Your key is also in My licences.
If the old site no longer exists
If you cannot log in to the old site (it was deleted, or the domain expired), write to webadmin@nopvideo.com with your licence key and the old site address, and we will free the key for you.
