Update the plugin
Product Viewer updates arrive like any other plugin: when a new version is out, it appears in Dashboard > Updates and on the Plugins screen, with an update button. You do not need to download anything by hand.
Update now
- Go to Plugins.
- Under Product Viewer you see a notice that a new version is available. Click View version details to read what changed.
- Click Update now.
You can also do it from Dashboard > Updates: tick Product Viewer and click Update Plugins. Your filters, products and settings are kept.
Automatic updates
On the Plugins screen, click Enable auto-updates in the Product Viewer row. WordPress then installs new versions on its own.
Do I need a licence to get updates?
No. Updates are offered to the free version too. WordPress checks for new versions on its own schedule, so an update can take a few hours to appear after release.
If our update server cannot be reached, nothing happens: no warning appears and the plugin keeps working. The update will show up at a later check. You can also install a newer zip by hand, following Install the free version and choosing Replace current with uploaded.
