Comparison, sorting and filtered links

On the site, visitors tick entries in the left column and the results update at once. They can also search, sort, compare products side by side and copy a link that reopens the catalogue already filtered.

Filtering and search

• Ticking entries updates the results and the counts immediately. Reset clears all filters.
• If a combination gives no results, the catalogue says so and offers Clear the filters.
• On phones the filter column is hidden behind a Filters button, with Show the results to go back.
• The search field (placeholder Search model or code) finds products by name or code.

Sorting

The Sort by menu offers Default and Name. If the catalogue has a number filter, it also offers two options named after the first one, for example Capacity, low to high and Capacity, high to low for a filter called Capacity. Without number filters these two options do not appear.

Product comparison

Available in the full version, when Product comparison is ticked in Settings.

1. The visitor clicks Compare on a card. The button changes to Added and a bar appears with the chosen products.
2. With at least two products chosen, Compare in the bar shows a side by side table.
3. Clear empties the selection.

Up to 3 products can be compared at once. The table rows are the filters marked Show on the product card in Filters: tick that option on the features people need to compare.

Filtered links

The chosen filters are written in the page address. Apply a selection on the site, copy the address from the browser bar, and you have a link that opens the catalogue already filtered. Useful for campaigns, email and for sending a customer straight to the products they need.
