Settings: behaviour, appearance and detail page
Product Viewer > Settings controls how the catalogue behaves and looks. Change what you need and click Save settings at the bottom. Only administrators can open this screen.
What the products are called
Singular and Plural change the word used in the admin screens: Product, Model, Machine, Item, whatever suits you.
Catalogue behaviour

The product detail page
The detail page is off by default: cards are not clickable and the catalogue works as a filterable showcase. Turn it on to give every product its own page, with a public address that search engines can index. The card then shows a Product page link, and the Full description of the product is shown there.
Turn it on if you want full product sheets. Leave it off if the catalogue only helps people find the right products before they get in touch.
The address of the detail pages
Every detail page has an address like yoursite.com/product/product-name/. The first word comes from Detail page address: type the word you want (lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens) and click Save settings. The new addresses work straight away.

product. - Sites that had the plugin before version 0.4.4 keep
prodotto, so the addresses already published do not change. - If you leave the field empty, the current word is kept.
Changing the word changes the address of every product page. Links shared before, and pages already indexed by search engines, may stop working: choose the word before you publish the catalogue.
Appearance

| Type size | The base text size, from 11 to 24 (normal value 15). Titles, labels and counts all scale from it. Full version only. |
Type colours as hex codes (for example #529D9F) or pick them with the colour square next to each field. The separating lines are worked out automatically from the background, so they stay readable on both dark and light backgrounds.
If you raise the type size a lot, raise the minimum card width too, otherwise the columns stay narrow for the text.
Maintenance and tools
- Load sample filters, Create sample products, Delete sample products: see Set up your first catalogue.
- Rebuild the index: the plugin keeps an internal index of filter values so the counts are fast. It updates itself when you save a product, change a filter or import a CSV. Use the button only if the data was changed from outside, for example after a site migration or a database import.
