Add and manage products
You add a product from Product Viewer > New product: one screen with name, code, descriptions, photo and the entries of every filter you created. The WordPress editor is not used.
Add a product
- Go to Product Viewer > New product.
- Fill in Product name (required).
- Fill in Product code (for example GRE 061 E). It stands out on the card, and it is the key the CSV import uses to update a product instead of duplicating it.
- Write a Short description: one or two lines shown on the card in the grid.
- Optionally write a Full description. It is shown only on the product detail page, which is off by default (see Settings).
- In the Image box, click Choose image, pick or upload a photo from the media library, then click Use this image.
- In the box of each filter, tick the entries that apply. For a number filter, type the number (for example 600), without the unit.
- Click Add product. The message Product saved. appears.
If a filter box says No entries yet., click Add them here to create its entries first.
The product list
Product Viewer > Product list shows every product with photo, name, code and filter values.
- Search with the Search by name or code field, or narrow the list with the All filters menu, then click Search. Clear search shows every product again.
- Edit opens the product screen. Save with Save changes.
- Duplicate makes a copy and opens it: handy for variants. Change the fields that differ and save.
- Delete removes the product after a confirmation. It cannot be undone.
In the free version the catalogue shows 25 products. You can store more: the Product list says how many are shown and how many are waiting, and they all appear once a licence is active.
Where products are stored
Products are saved inside WordPress as content hidden from the normal menus. They are included in your usual backups and exports, and their photos live in the media library.
