Switch on your first modules
Everything in WP Plus+ happens on one screen, WP Plus+ > Modules. You read a module's card, click its Off button to switch it on, and, if it has options, set them and click Save.
What you see on the panel
- At the top, a black header with your plan, a link to these guides and the support address.
- Next to the page title, a search box (Search: comments, login, images...).
- A Start here card with the setup steps still to do and a button for the next one. It disappears once a module is on and no module is waiting for a detail, such as the new login address.
- A counter with the number of modules running and, in the free version, how many of the 5 places are in use.
- The Start from a combination section with three ready sets.
- Seven groups of cards: Admin area, Log in and users, Content, Switch off, Your own code, Weight and speed, Tools.
Read before you switch on
Every card has a What changes line. Click it to open three short paragraphs: When you want it, What it does to the site and, for modules with a risk, Worth knowing. Read this before switching on anything that affects logins, the REST API or uploads.
Switch a module on
- Find the card you want.
- Click the Off button on the card. It changes to On and the page reloads on the same card.
- If the module has options, they now appear under the card. Set them and click Save.
Options are only shown while a module is on. To switch a module off, click its On button. Its options are kept for next time.
Find a module quickly
Type in the search box at the top: the cards are filtered while you type (for example comments, login, images). Press Enter to open the explanation of the first card found. If nothing matches, the panel says No module matches what you typed.
Start from a combination
Three sets of modules that fit common kinds of site. Click Switch these on under one of them. It switches those modules on and touches nothing else: whatever you already had on stays on, and you can change any module afterwards.

Each combination switches on six to eight modules. On the free version only the first five modules you switched on actually run, so some of them will wait. The combination card says so before you click, for example Free version: only 5 of these 8 modules will actually run, and the message after applying it says how many are running.
Site handed to a client has a New login address field. Write the address down, type it there and click Switch these on: the login address module is switched on with that address. Leave the field empty and that module stays off, so the login is never left half configured; you can switch it on later from its own card.
How the free limit works
- The free version runs the first five modules in the order you switched them on.
- A module over the limit shows on its card: Switched on, but over the free limit, so it is not running. Its settings are kept.
- The top of the panel says how many modules are switched on but not running.
- To choose which five run, switch off the ones you care about least. Switching a module off and on again moves it to the end of the queue.
- With a licence or the trial, every module you switched on starts running immediately. See Activate your licence key.
