Install the free version

You install WP Plus+ by uploading its zip file in your WordPress admin. It takes about two minutes and you do not need FTP or any technical tool.

1. Download the zip file

1. Open the WP Plus+ product page and download the free version.
2. Leave the file as it is: a single .zip file. Do not unzip it. WordPress needs the zip.

2. Log in to WordPress

1. Open your site's admin address in the browser: yoursite.com/wp-admin (replace yoursite.com with your domain).
2. Log in with an administrator account.

3. Upload and activate

1. In the left menu go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
2. Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
3. Click Choose File and pick the WP Plus+ zip you downloaded.
4. Click Install Now and wait for the confirmation.
5. Click Activate Plugin.

Where to find it

A new WP Plus+ entry appears in the left admin menu, usually just below Users. It has two sub-pages:

• Modules: the panel with all 28 modules.
• Licence: shows your current plan in brackets, for example Licence (Free).

Activating the plugin changes nothing on your site: every module starts switched off. Continue with Switch on your first modules.

If something goes wrong

• "The link you followed has expired": the zip is larger than the upload limit set by your hosting. Ask your host to raise the maximum upload size, or upload the plugin folder by FTP into wp-content/plugins/.
• "Destination folder already exists": a copy of WP Plus+ is already installed. WordPress offers Replace current with uploaded: click it to install the new copy over the old one. Your module settings are kept.
• "Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error": your server most likely runs a PHP version older than 7.4. Ask your host to switch the site to PHP 7.4 or newer, then activate again.
• You uploaded a folder or the wrong file: make sure you are choosing the .zip file, not an unzipped folder (see the Mac note above).
