Pro: editing translations
With Pro every sentence can be rewritten by hand. Your version replaces the automatic one on every page where the sentence appears, and is never overwritten.
From the list
- Open Translate > Translations.
- Choose the language, filter by Automatic or Edited by hand, or search in the original or the translation.
- Rewrite the translation and save. Edited sentences show the By hand label.
From the page
While logged in, open a page in a translated language and use the admin bar to open the sentences of that page.
Markers
Markers like [1]this[/1] stand for a link, bold text or a word kept as it is: leave them in, around the right words. That is how a sentence keeps its links when it is translated as a whole.
