Third parties, scan and your own rules
Scan the site (Pro)
In Third parties, click Scan the site. The plugin opens up to 12 pages like a visitor would and lists the external services it finds in two groups:
- Blocked until consent: services the plugin recognises and blocks.
- Not recognised, so not blocked: addresses that load freely. If one of them sets cookies, click Add rule next to it, choose its category and save.
Repeat the scan when you change theme or add a plugin.
Your rules (Pro)
Write the address a script comes from, such as stats.example.com or example.com/track, choose its category and the name visitors see in the preferences panel. You can also mark a single script tag by hand with data-nopdcc-category="marketing".
Services the plugin recognises
About fifty services are blocked on their own. Open the list only to move a service to another category, for example if you use a chat only for support. After a change, go to Settings > Ask everyone again: the consent visitors gave before was given to a different list.
Stripe, PayPal, reCAPTCHA and hCaptcha are in Necessary on purpose. Blocking them stops checkout and contact forms.
Write to us and tell us which plugin, what you tried and what you see. We answer from Italy, usually within one working day.
