Which law to follow
If your visitors are mostly in Europe, leave Ask first, everywhere. With Pro you can choose the US opt-out rule or the rule by visitor region; the region needs a service that tells the site where the visitor is, such as Cloudflare. Ask again after sets how many days a choice lasts: European authorities suggest 6 to 12 months.
Blocking
Keep Block third-party scripts until the visitor says yes on: without it, the services start before the answer and the consent has no value. Block videos, maps and forms from other sites replaces them with a box and a button.
Google services
Send Google Consent Mode v2 signals tells Google what the visitor chose. For Google Tag Manager, leave Block it until consent unless Consent Mode is already set up inside your container.
Cookie policy
Choose the page the banner links to, or click Create the page. The shortcodes have a Copy button: [nopdcc_cookie_policy] for the full policy, [nopdcc_cookie_table] for the table of services, [nopdcc_preferences] for the footer link.
Ask everyone again
Use it after you add a service or move one to another category. Every visitor sees the banner again on the next visit.
Write to us and tell us which plugin, what you tried and what you see. We answer from Italy, usually within one working day.
