Getting started
- What is Cookie ConsentCookie Consent shows a cookie banner and stops third-party services from loading until the visitor allows them.
- Install the free versionUpload the zip in Plugins > Add New Plugin and activate it. The banner is on from the first minute.
- Activate your licence keyGo to Cookie Consent > Pro licence, paste the key and click Activate on this site.
- Set up the banner in five minutesChoose position and colours, link the cookie policy and add the footer link. That is all a typical site needs.
Using Cookie Consent
- Banner: position, colours and buttonsEverything on the Banner tab, from the on/off switch to the round button that reopens the choice.
- Texts and languagesEvery text of the banner is already written in five languages. Change only what your site needs to say differently.
- Third parties, scan and your own rulesSee what your pages load, block what the plugin does not know yet, and move a service to another category.
- Consent logProof of every choice, without IP addresses, with CSV export.
- SettingsWhich law to follow, blocking, Google services, browser signals, cookie policy and the consent log.
Licence and account
- Try Pro free for 7 daysClick Start the 7-day trial in Cookie Consent > Pro licence. No card and nothing to cancel.
- Move a licence to another siteRelease this site on the old site, then activate the same key on the new one.
- Update the pluginNew versions appear in Dashboard > Updates like any other plugin.
