Getting started
Forms builds contact forms and requests for a quote in the WordPress dashboard. Visitors fill them in on your pages; you receive an email and find every entry in one list.
1. Install the plugin
- Download the Forms zip from My licences. Do not unzip it.
- In WordPress go to Plugins > Add New Plugin, click Upload Plugin, choose the zip and click Install Now, then Activate Plugin.
- A Forms item appears in the left menu, with All forms, Entries, Settings and Licence under it.
2. Create a form
- Open Forms > All forms, choose a model in Start from and click Create form. Contact form has name, email, message and consent; Request a quote adds phone, a choice, a date and details.
- Change the fields as you like (see Building a form) and click Save form.
3. Put it on a page
In the block editor add the Form block and choose the form in the block settings. With Elementor, the classic editor or a widget, paste the shortcode shown under the name of the form, for example [nopd_form id="12"].
4. Send a test
Open the page while logged out (or in a private window), fill in the form and send it. The entry appears in Forms > Entries and the notice reaches the administration email of the site. If the email does not arrive, see Emails and NOP Mail.
