Privacy and retention

Forms saves only the answers the form asks for, the form, the page and the date. It never saves the IP address or browser details, and sets no cookies.

• Consent: add a Privacy consent field to every form that collects personal data. It links to the page chosen in Settings > Privacy.
• Requests from a person: Tools > Export Personal Data and Tools > Erase Personal Data find the entries by the email written in the form, and erasing removes their uploaded files too.
• Retention: in Forms > Settings choose after how long entries are deleted automatically: 30 days, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year (2 years, 5 years or never with Pro).
• Privacy policy: Settings > Privacy offers a suggested text about Forms to copy into your policy.
